Like it or not, automated traffic enforcement is here to stay and expect to see more of it as cash strapped cities and states scramble on the photo radar and red light camera bandwagon.
 Cobra and Escort both had their GPS enabled radar detectors reviewed at the 2008 SML test. Both the XRSR9G, 9500ci and the newly released 9500ix databases come pre-programmed with known photo enforcement locations.
The Escort 9500ci and the 9500ix also utilize their AutoLearn feature that is able to self program known false alert locations into the detector, thus reducing the false alerts to near zero in the common areas you travel.
