Laser enforcement is becoming more prevlent in traffic enforcement. Almost fifty percent of the speed enforcement equipment in Ohio is laser based and in Hawaii it is close to 100%!

Traditional radar detectors are ineffective against this type of enforcement because of the very narrow beam of the laser itself and because the officer only activates the laser gun when you are within his targetting range.

In other words, "If you're shot you're got!"

However, several laser jamming devices are very effective with this type of speed enforcement.

Laser jammers work by blanking out the light source from the police laser gun with its more powerful IF light source.
